BobCAD v32 not opening on new latptop

Trying to transfer our current license to our new laptop.

Upon doing so two weeks ago, I installed v32 onto our new laptop, but could not get the license to transfer properly. After being out of the shop for 2 weeks, I come back today and BobCAD v32 will not launch at all. I have tried reinstalling and restarting, but still cannot get BobCAD to run. It launches in the Task Manager for approx. 5 seconds before removing itself from Task Manager…

I’m at a loss… any suggestions? TYIA

Sounds like you may need to update your C++ Redistributables on that computer.

To find the latest Redistributables, go here: Latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads | Microsoft Docs

Then, scroll down to “Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022” and download and install “X86” and “X64”. Then, restart the computer and try again.

This should allow the software to open.
