I used bobcad to create a 22 inch sprocket for a number 50 chain. I exported it to a step file and had it laser cut. after welding it in place, I discovered that the chain will only engage for about 12 inches before it rides out of the teeth. I contacted support, but they told me the geometry is ok. The sprocket looks great, but will not accept the chain. I used the sprocket module in Bobcad, using the parameters for a number 50 chain (pitch .625, roller diameter .400). What did I do wrong?
