any chance of adding the ability to open .skp files in BobCAD-CAM…yesterday we had a customer send us a file in that format and i’m sure from this customer at least it won’t be the first time…
thanks Bigman

This is from SketchUp. You can open it with BobCAM for Rhino.
Riiiiiight…like i was saying…my V33 BobCAD-CAM won’t open it…be way cooler if it did…
Hello,
Welcome to the forum! I can add this in as a feature request with our development team.
Thanks for the post.
Have a great weekend!
this is why i suggested this…this is the way that the .dwg file that the customer sent had sent us looked like when opened thru V33…the .skp file was the only one that was “useable”…after i found a reader…i’ve also had problems with V33 handling .dxf files also…changing formats and dimensions and such…being that we work a lot with international customers…getting questions answered in a timely manner is tough sometimes…
as a frame of reference …this is a sample of a dxf that when opened looks nothing like it looks when opened in a program such as DesignCad…which had a free version up until this year i believe…which made this a non issue for a while…but …the dimensions come out looking strange…
If you have not already, I would like you to submit (to support) the files you are having issues with where the dimensions are not really reading correct when opened. We need to see these files so we can test and make sure we are improving the file reader
