Hi. I do a lot of copy-paste of operations within the same file into different setups. Almost always tools in the copied ops end up in different pocket numbers and have to do a manual rundown of every single one. Is there a way that the copied tool assignment remains the same?

Look to see if the Use Automatic Tool Numbering box in the tool crib is checked. If it is, uncheck it.
I’ve done that but still it happens. Sometimes I will end up with duplicate tools using the same offset register.
I sometimes end up with that too…
usually in a situation such as this i will set up a machining template containing the tools i plan to use and then load that template when i need to use that…
