I run v25 and use contours on my tool paths to establish tool cutter comp direction. Also handy to open an old file and have a visual of the intended tool moves. Is there equivalent in v33? I’m stumbling around in the demo but haven’t tripped over contours yet.

There is still contours in V33. They are on the Create 2D tab all the way on the right. But, most people don’t use them anymore as you can set the direction of cut while you are selecting the geometry for the toolpaths. So you’ll select your geometry, then there is a chains box that will show you all the chains selected as well as the directions they are in. and you can modify them right through there.
