Trying to mill parallel slots

I’m trying to mill a series of parallel 1/4" slots spaced 1/4" apart with a 1/4" end mill. The tool path always comes out 1/2" wide no matter what I do. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I’m assuming you are using wireframe geometry and selecting that for a profile toolpath…do you by chance have Comp (system or machine) turned on and are selecting the chains in opposite directions?

Post some screenshots of what you are doing and it will help us a bit with the issue.

I actually sorted it out. Under patterns I had system compensation set to “OFF” thinking it would run straight down the center of the slot in a single pass. SO I tried setting it to “RIGHT” no luck. Then I tried setting it to “LEFT” Bingo. Works like a charm.
