Upgrade to V37, first impressions

I am a long time Bobcad user, been on V30 for ages and made quite a bit of money with it.

I decided to upgrade to V37, initial impressions are good. I bought over my Tool library and posts from V30 with no problem. I took the opportunity to tidy up my tool library’s a bit.

V37 is very stable, no crashes so far and I am programming fee paying work.

A happy customer.

that makes one of us…this version crashes almost as much as the previous versions…and the maddening thing is the crashesnhappen randomly…just crashed on me moments ago and all i was doing was placing a point…i’ve come to just understanding that they are never going to fix it and have my auto save set for 1 minute intervals because i’m tired of losing my work all the freaking time

I tried V37 for a month, and yeah it crashed on me quite a bit too, at random times. So, anyway, I decided not to move forward with it and stay with V36 which is a little better. Still have issues with tools being renumbered as I mention in another post. I am not too confident also that these issues will be fixed, for sure not for V36.

One of the long ongoing issues still with BobCad-CAM previous versions and still with V37 is here in this link :

Frustrating, I would like to support Bobcad on an annual basis, but for what I mostly use the software for, it has the same old unfixed issues, so I don’t want to pay out money for that. It’s nice to get new features and capacity, but the on-going issues need to be addressed also.

Thank you,
David.

We haven’t heard from @MillingGuy in a long time, I hope all is well.
