Is there any way to rotate an STL file when using stock wizard? I want to use the STL file I save from first process as my stock for 2nd process but I can’t figure out how to rotate it. I am working around this by making new coordinate system for 2nd process but would be so much easier if I could just rotate the STL file in the stock wizard.
I’ve just opened the stl and positioned as required, re-saved it and opened as stock. There may be better ways but that works for me.
Thanks for the reply. I just tried this, but there still seems to be some calculations that need to be done to translate to the correct position. I am unable to select geometry or points on the STL to do quick translations or measurements. I had to go back to first operation and the prints to figure out the translation amounts to get it to line up correctly, but it does work. Not sure which option I like better yet, but it still seems like it should be easier!
