My post was working fine. Somehow I have lost the coolant calls in posted code. The post itself appears to have the code to post coolant calls. And the operations have coolant checked on for flood. But my code just puts out a blank line where the M08 & M09 calls should be. My mill post works fine. Does anyone have an idea where I should look?
Rick, see if this KB article will help https://bobcadsupport.com/knowledgebase/setup-custom-coolant-m-codes-in-bobcad-cam/
I submitted a ticket for support on this and Jason helped me with the ticket on it. He was able to take my file, post, and mach sim I was having trouble with and get coolant calls to post on his computer. I still could not get that file to post coolant. I was able to create a program from scratch somehow that was able to output coolant calls, I still use that as a template. If I use that one it posts fine. However, since then, I have tried creating a program several times from scratch again and am having the same issue now when creating a new MillTurn program.
I'm at a loss. I am using the exact same post and mach sim files to post both my template and the new program. And the template I've been using still posts coolant codes and any new Millturn program I create does not post these codes. I'm going to reopen my ticket on this with support and will report back whenever I get this sorted once and for all. I just want to make sure people who run into this can find the solution .
I know it’s frustrating when your having a problem and read a bunch of threads on the internet to figure it out, and people either abandon the thread halfway through the process because either they found the solution, or they say it is solved and don’t post a clear solution. So hopefully I will find my solution. I’ll let you know…
