Windows Smart App Control Blocking Bobcad

Hi All,

I’m trying to use my PC this morning to do work, and I find a lot of the programs I use blocked by Windows Smart App Control.

Predator Editor is being blocked.

BobCad V30 will open but won’t post because BcCamPostExe.exe is being blocked.

BobCad V38 will open but the NC Editor module won’t open, and I don’t know what else is being blocked.

Unrelated to BobCad, there are a bunch of other productivity software I need to do my job being blocked.

I’m using Windows 11 Pro on a new HP desktop.

Our IT department turned off Smart App Control after it started blocking Windows security updates. So, most of the problems went away. NC Editor still won’t work. BCAD support says it’s a registry problem and gave me a script to fix it. I still have to get the IT people to run it and find out if it works.
