The way of working with CAM systems is constantly changing and evolving
Working with the solid and surfaces is becoming more and more widespread and it would be advisable to allow the possibility of selecting surfaces for use in defining toolpath for Wire EDM. Currently the system only allows working with wireframe geometry.
It is clear to me that this extension will not be easy, but in the first step it could be probably possible to add this for 2-axis Wire-EDM cutting since e.g. already in the milling module it is possible to select a face to define the profile. Another implementation could be 4 axis cutting but where it will be probably more complex.
