You guys using a probe?

Are those parts or chips? :face_with_monocle:

I can see the reluctance of your management to add a probing module if the majority of your work is that sized.

indeed those are partsā€¦lolā€¦brass type to be exactā€¦that i have to hold to +/- .0005ā€¦which is a pretty good tolerance some stuff i get .0002ā€¦i do about 10000 to 20000 of those a yearā€¦then iā€™ll go to making a 24" long set of muffler embossing diesā€¦iā€™m literally all over the board here lolā€¦

We have a renishaw spindle a tool probe on our mill, not sure why Bobcad want to charge extra for probing.

I am using a sinumerik 840Dsl for Milling machine and have a touch probe Renishaw RMP60 on it. Now my machine got in trouble. When I call the probe tool go to the spindle for the first time (by M06). The signal ok. When I touch to probe pin the machine got an alarm (the spindle touch a part ). It works normally

Welcome. What is throwing an alarm code are you getting? The table or spindle probe?
